Based in Burnley, I provide wealth management advice to clients in Burnley and the surrounding areas.
I have worked in the financial services industry for the last 18 years and am a fully qualified, to Diploma level, Financial Adviser. I have held many roles during this time including Branch Manager & Regional Manager for Skipton Building Society, and then most recently as the sole Financial Planning Manager in the Cooperative Bank’s flagship branch on Balloon Street, Manchester. These roles have given me a wealth of experience and a real desire & ability to provide excellent, personalised advice, and what I believe is unrivalled customer service to my clients – whether these be personal or corporate.
I am committed to ensuring that my industry knowledge remains relevant and current by placing strong emphasis on my personal development, This, along with the pride and dedication that I place on developing solid personal relationships with my clients, ensures that am I able offer a rounded and professional service.
Outside of my business, I am a busy family man due to having 3 young sons, Daniel, Luke, & Harvey. In the little spare time I get I like to keep fit by going to the gym and playing football – I also like to socialise with friends and family.
Charity is also important to me - I give regularly & have participated in many events ranging from a 24 hour fun run to sponsored walks, and I once even walked on fire! (training was provided so please don’t try this at home)
In line with my professional background, I have focused on developing specialist knowledge and am now fully qualified to provide advice on trusts* and estate planning. Paul Schofield Wealth Management's comprehensive inheritance tax and investing for income seminars show you how to potentially reduce the burden of inheritance tax.
Fundamentally I see my approach as one of problem-solving for the client - rather than product-selling. As a result, my clients can expect to receive the most comprehensive, holistic, and appropriate advice at all times.
